IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Teams book flights and hotels at their own risk! Please understand that there are a number of factors that determine which teams are selected for the tournaments. Especially the Summer Slam Showcase, Nor Cal’s Finest Invitationals and Sorcerer Phil Mumma Memorial Showcase. If you are an APPROVED team you are entered in the tournament. Pending means PENDING and does not guarantee your team entry into the tournament, even though you have paid the entry fee. While early entry is advised and will normally gain your team entry into the tournaments, it is NOT a guarantee. We strongly take into consideration those teams that we feel will be the most likely to attract and interest college coaches, no matter when they officially register into the tournament. While this may be unfair to new teams that are competitive, time will tell which teams we should include in the events. Your placement in a tournament is affected by when you enter, your ESTABLISHED history, your participation in our events, and in some cases your home region and/or state. In no particular order. We are not concerned about your win/loss records or who your team recently played.
Just a note…. Many of you talk with recruiting gurus of one flavor or another, and many of you are diligent in communicating with potential schools which is great. Our website now has a means for us to show which coaches have registered to attend, but that does not mean they will come. There are many college coaches that attend our events and never register at all. Base your recruiting on identifying the schools that interest and fit you. Start a relationship, let them know when and where you are playing, remind them prior to an event, ask THEM if they plan to attend.
If you are not approved to play in a respective event you will receive a full refund the week following the conclusion of the tournament. Our refund policy may be found on the Turn 2 Softball Home page.
